Maury White

I’m one of the few (approximately 100) attorneys in Ohio designated as a Certified Family Law Specialist by the Ohio State Bar Association. I am a member of the Collaborative Lawyers of Cincinnati, the Southwest Ohio Collaborative Law Association in Warren County, the Collaborative Family Law Association of Butler County and the International Association of Collaborative Professionals. Currently, 11 of the Certified Specialists in Ohio are located in Hamilton County; I am the only Certified Specialist with an office in the Butler/Warren county area.

I served as the Chair of the Cincinnati Academy of Collaborative Professionals (CACP) from 2006 to 2008. The Academy gave me a wonderful plaque that quotes Mohandas Gandhi: "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." It was presented to honor my service in changing Collaborative Law Practice in Cincinnati.

Credentials, education and community connections

I have over 30 years of courtroom experience and am a member of the Cincinnati Bar Association and the Ohio Bar Association. I am admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Ohio, United States District Court and the United States Court of Appeals and trained to represent clients in all aspects of divorce proceedings.

As a graduate of Walnut Hills High School, University of Virginia and University of Cincinnati College of Law, I have extensive roots in the Southwest Ohio area.

I remain active in the Cincinnati community, and have served as president of Beit Chaverim Reform Jewish congregation. I have served also on the Cincinnati Board of Overseers at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion and have volunteered at Beech Acres in Domestic Relations Mediation. I won the American Jurisprudence Awards in Agency and Partnership and Family Law. I have also been periodically appointed Guardian Ad Litem for children and incompetents by the domestic relations judges in Hamilton County.
