Dispute Resolution Lawyer Cincinnati
Realistic Evaluation of the Merits of Your Respective Positions
Chances are, if you are facing divorce, you 1) are facing your first divorce, or 2) were not satisfied with the process and the result of an earlier divorce. Either way, you may be wondering “What is the best way for me to obtain my divorce?” and “How do I choose the right marriage dissolution process so that I don’t have regret later on, when it’s too late?”
I, Maury White, Attorney at Law, respect the care you will need to take when deciding between litigation, Collaborative Law or Mediation and offer a service designed to educate you clearly about the divorce and/dispute resolution option that will work best for you. My nearly 35 years of legal experience and certification by the Ohio State Bar Association as a Family Law Specialist enable you to trust the neutral evaluation to provide information you can count on.
What I Do as an Early Independent Neutral Evaluator
Before you select an attorney and before you select a marriage dissolution process, I can act as an independent neutral/non-binding arbitrator. Settlement is not the primary goal; education of the parties is the objective. In this role I can provide a realistic evaluation of your divorce case, TO BOTH SPOUSES by:
- Reviewing of your tax returns
- Compiling a list of your assets
- Listening to your stories
- Not giving specific personal advice on what may be in his or her best interests information pertinent to your marriage
Upon completion of the evaluation process I will provide an answer to the questions “What is the likely outcome in court?”, “Where will this case likely end up?” and “What dispute resolution option would likely best serve your interests?”
It’s important to know that, as an early neutral evaluation I will not serve as your lawyer, an attorney/client relationship will not be established and I will not draft documents, file pleadings or fill other functions normally relegated to a divorce attorney. Instead, at a reasonable cost, you will obtain information that will help ensure you make the best-possible decisions regarding your divorce at the most important point in the process – at the very beginning.
